Update on my brother’s cancer. He needs a miracle.

My brother Fredrick is one of the godliest men I know, a brilliant theologian, leader in the Christian community, and a family man with a gentle spirit. He is my hero. He has been battling sickness for a long time, and renal cancer since last summer.

For those of you who have asked about him, he is not doing well. He has lost more weight, has nausea and vomiting which means trouble keeping food and liquids down, and extremely weak. I am not qualified to give all the details, for I would probably get them all wrong, but the doctors seem to think his time on earth is limited. He has had two major operations and we thought he was doing better, but now seems worse.

Fredrick has a wonderful caregiver. His wife Jeri, a nurse, has aggressively sought the best treatment for his care, researched and implemented traditional and alternative methods where a possible cure could help him. I can only say that I admire and respect the amount of love and care she has given. She has been exhausted and overwhelmed at times but keeps going.

Fredrick and Jeri know God is with them, and we pray for strength during this time, and that’s God’s will be done. Thank you for all your prayers for him. God still listens. Here are the verses I pray for Fredrick.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him. I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him.”  Psalm 92:14-15

That describes Fredrick. He loves God and acknowledges His name, and whatever the future holds, I know God will be with him. He will be honored.

And, a miracle could save him.

Thank you for letting us know Fredricks condition. I pray that any powers that are coming against him will be bound, in Jesus name. I pray the power of God to heal will be released into him, in Jesus name. I pray that God give all his medical staff, involved in his treatment, the knowledge and wisdom to treat him in the best way, so his healing will be manifested in a miraclous way. I pray nothing will stand in God’s will for his life. I pray God will give him the strength, courage, and the ability to endure until his healing arrives. I pray God’s will

The Lord is faithful,He Knows His own and He Protects His own. Fear not for the Lord our God is in control.

We are praying for him. We hope that he will be able to eat and gain his strength.
