I’m overwhelmed by people’s care after finding out my cancer was gone! But we have one more unexpected hurdle this week. I thought I had an infected bug bite on my right lower leg and went to the doctor to get it checked out two weeks ago. Antibiotics didn’t help so the sore was biopsied. It is skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma). The operation to take it off will be Tuesday, April 16th. The same day, my great Aunt Frances will have an operation for bladder cancer (she’s 86 years old).
I was upset at first, it hurts and has been there two months, and I am tired of medical problems. But God has done great things for me already. He brought people in person to pray for me. My writing friends prayed, a doctor prayed, my sweet sisters prayed, my cousin who is a pastor visited me and prayed, the elders of our church prayed Sunday morning.
Prayer is a powerful tool. God hears and He answered those prayers. He brought me relief, rest, and peace. Now I’m asking for you to pray again this week, especially for Tuesday (and maybe for my recovery) and for Aunt Frances, and my mom who will be taking care of her. I am simply amazed at the awesome group of kindhearted loving people who surround me.
I have been reading Psalm 103. Praise the Lord, Oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who also forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
God healed my body after the first cancer, not because I deserved it, but because he is merciful to me in spite of my weaknesses and sin. And because you prayed. Thank you. That’s helps me to trust Him now.

His ways are not our ways but He is always faithful to those who love Him. Praying from the Tiemann family will continue in earnest.
I believe God will heal and it is always His will to heal so we will keep praying for you.. Psalm 103 as you quoted. One arm of the cross is for our sins, the other arm for our illnesses. The cup of wine for our sins, and the bread for our body. His body for our body. Praise Him our eternal hope. What would we do without Jesus… Praying for you sweet friend!
Man! I’m at a loss to express my heart, but I do promise to be a prayer supporter for this walk that God has set before you.
I will pray for your aunt and for you. Be well.
