The Carson National Forest near Red River, New Mexico is gorgeous in the springtime. We camped and hiked for almost a week, exploring new creekbeds, flowers and beauty hidden in the isolated valleys.

The Ozarks’ premier wilderness resort. So it is advertised. Big Cedar Lodge. We went in 2007 on our annivesary. Actually, it’s in Ridgedale, Mo. Great place to spend some time. Great place to relax.
