This weekend I’m driving with my sis, Kay, to Antioch Baptist Church, in Carthage, Texas! I’m so excited. My counselor sister, Keren, and I have given eight retreats for women about dealing with emotions, but this is the first ladies retreat based on my Bible study, Love From the Inside Out. I’ve taught the study several times at Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond, OK. And this semester we have a class at Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee, OK, with an awesome group of ladies! I love ‘em.
Love From the Inside Out reveals steps on how love can grow in your life. It includes stories of incarcerated women who taught me about true godly love.
This weekend’s retreat started out with four ladies who wanted me to come teach the book. Now there are 18 enrolled! I’m really looking forward to spending time with them. We’re having it at the cabin in the piney woods. What fun! Maybe we’ll go fishing, too!
Please pray for the women attending, that I’ll speak words from God, and that He will move in our hearts.
